About Role:

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing hardware issues faced by users, including laptops and printers. Additionally, they should possess the ability to perform basic laptop repairs and replace faulty components with functional ones salvaged from decommissioned laptops.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Test and assess issues related to computer software and hardware, including various operating systems such as Mac, Linux, and Windows.
  • Diagnose hardware problems reported by users and provide timely solutions.
  • Perform simple repairs on laptops and printers, such as replacing screens, keyboards, batteries , … .
  • Salvage functional components from decommissioned laptops and utilize them for repairs.
  • Recommend suitable laptop models based on organizational requirements for procurement.
  • Develop and deploy solutions for all computer-related problems, taking prompt action to resolve them.


Requirements

  • Mastery of A+
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware issues in laptops and printers.
  • Proficiency in performing basic hardware repairs and component replacements.
  • Ability to salvage and repurpose functional components from decommissioned devices.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and recommend appropriate laptop models.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with users and provide technical support.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues related to hardware and software, including laptops, printers, and scanners.
  • Analyze the market and suggest the best possible specifications for the staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues and other IT professionals.
  • Knowledge of common software applications and productivity tools.
