About the team
SnappLine is an online line taxi reservation service. The team and product is in early stages and we are growing fast. We believe in our mission. In the Line team, we collaborate with each other and with the business and operation teams to achieve our mission together. We value collaboration, creativity, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and design for small increments of work
• Communicate effectively with a positive and confident attitude
• Helping to ensure effective coding practices
• Unit and integration tests as well as code reviews and pair programming
• Design and implement distributed, scalable, high-performance micro-service-based applications
• Work with high-end infrastructure technologies
• Experienced with SQL databases and best practices for design
• Maintaining and dismantling legacy code
• Developing and maintaining micro services in Golang

Mandatory Qualifications

• Strong understanding of good design principles
• Comfortable with an agile, flexible approach to feature development
• Unit testing or component testing
• Experience in one of the programming languages like Go, PHP, Python
• Has experience in building Restful Web services
• Has experience using GIT for source version control
• Familiar with Containers and Linux
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (MySQL, …)

Preferred Qualifications (optional)

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, …)
• A strong “Automation First” mentality
• Familiar with Kubernetes
• Familiar with DevOps culture and GitOps
