Job Description:
As a Senior TAX/SSO accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial compliance and adherence to tax/SSO regulations. This includes preparing local financial reports in Farsi, monitoring statutory books and local bookkeeping, and participating in the reconciliation of the ERP system with both the TAX system and the Moadian system.
You will be responsible for ensuring tax and SSO compliance across various functions within the organization, addressing tax and SSO queries, and providing advice on regulations and laws as needed. Additionally, you will collaborate with a tax consultant and play a key role in revising and submitting VAT and tax returns to the Ministry of Finance.
Responsibilities:
Support assessments for CIT, VAT, and WHT.
End-to-end e-invoicing operationalization which means uploading, monitoring, controlling, accepting, and receiving all customer and supplier invoices along with helping to lead related functions to ensure compliance with e-invoicing regulations.
Provide an e-invoicing dashboard to monitor and announce the rejected Expired INVs.
Provide and submission the quarterly VAT file and Article 169 reports.
Write/maintain the Legal books. Execute end-to-end Iran JV i.e., booking, reporting Local & Group FS, VAT, etc.
Actively participate in audit committees and collaborate with auditors.
Compile and organize tax documentation for internal and external review.
Prepare financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards.
Manage insurance documentation and related correspondence.
Stay updated on tax legislation and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or other related fields.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of financial experience or similar positions.
Proficiency in English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Good knowledge of Tax and SSO regulation.
Familiarity with accounting software, ERP systems, and e-invoicing platforms.
