About the Role:
As a Junior Software Test Engineer, you’ll support our team by testing new features and identifying bugs in existing ones. Your role involves running acceptance tests, documenting results, and collaborating with team members to ensure a smooth user experience. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about technology, eager to learn, and enthusiastic about starting a career in software testing.
Responsibilities:
Acceptance and regression testing of Snapp’s mobile and web products
finding potential bugs and properly reporting them
Prepare detailed bug reports using testing tools
Share and expand your knowledge with the team
Analytical skills and a proactive approach to solving problems
Attention to detail, persistence, and patience in troubleshooting
Ability to approach issues with logical and comparative reasoning
Quick learner, eager to understand and adapt to new concepts
Basic skills in software debugging and a desire to improve
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
Familiarity with task management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
Experience in defining test cases and working with test management tools
Understanding of basic Linux commands or SQL queries
Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
Basic knowledge of concepts related to web-based applications and APIs
