Job description

About Snapp

Snapp is the pioneer provider of ride-hailing mobile solutions in Iran that connects smartphone owners in need of a ride to drivers who use their private cars offering transportation services. We are ambitious, passionate, engaged, and excited about pushing the boundaries of the transportation industry to new frontiers and be the first choice of each user in Iran.

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated Junior User Researcher with some hands-on experience who is eager to grow in a supportive and dynamic environment. In this role, you’ll conduct real research activities under the supervision of a senior researcher, uncovering user needs and turning findings into actionable insights that improve our products. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure user perspectives are integrated throughout the product development cycle.
Your work won’t just improve the user experience for millions of individual users, it will also support the growth of our B2B and organizational-facing products, contributing to Snapp’s broader strategic impact.

Responsibilities

  • Learn, plan, and conduct research using both qualitative and quantitative methods (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability tests) under senior supervision.

  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and writers to clarify and validate research questions and needs before initiating studies.

  • Help analyze and synthesize findings to identify patterns and actionable insights.

  • Contribute to research documentation and presentations to share findings with cross-functional teams.

  • Collaborate with designers, PMs, and writers to ensure decisions are grounded in user needs.

  • Stay curious and keep learning by participating in team discussions, critique sessions, and internal learning events.

Requirements

  • Some hands-on experience conducting user research (including internships, freelance projects, or academic work).

  • Ability to apply both qualitative and quantitative research methods and analyses.

  • Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, or user testing platforms is a plus.

  • Passion for learning research practices and methodologies from experienced researchers.

  • Strong skills in documenting findings and clearly communicating ideas.

  • Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

  • Interest or experience in B2B products—especially in a research context—is a strong advantage.

  • Familiarity with data analytics or previous exposure to the field is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of English (spoken and written), as most documentation is in English.

  • Educational background in psychology, ethnography, industrial design, or a related field is a bonus.
