Your Impact
As a Systems Administrator Engineer, you will take ownership of maintaining and evolving the core virtualization and storage infrastructure that powers Snapp’s ecosystem. You will work hands-on to ensure the stability, performance, and security of large-scale Linux-based systems, while proactively driving automation and continuous improvement across our infrastructure.
You will collaborate closely with Database, DevOps, and SRE teams to deliver reliable and resilient services that meet the demands of a rapidly scaling platform. Your contributions will shape strong engineering practices, and you’ll play a key role in solving complex infrastructure challenges, ensuring high uptime and service reliability across mission-critical systems.
What You’ll Drive Forward
Administer and maintain Linux systems across virtualized environments, ensuring stability and performance
Troubleshoot and optimize systems for reliability, security, and efficiency at the OS level
Contribute to continuous operational improvement and system documentation excellence
Manage incidents, changes, and related documentation, including RCA and CR reports
Ensure system compliance, patching, and backup integrity across production workloads
Collaborate closely with DBA, DevOps, and platform teams to deliver stable, highavailability‑ services
Automate configuration and deployment using Ansible, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD
Apply solid understanding of database systems, performance tuning, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, bonding, routing)
Operate VMware vCenter/ESXi and OpenNebula platforms with handson‑ experience
Participate in oncall‑ rotations and respond promptly to infrastructure incidents
What Powers Your Drive
Strong background in Linux system administration and troubleshooting
Experience with automation/IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD pipeline)
Understanding of database systems and performance optimization
Familiarity with processes for incident and change management
Solid networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills
Commitment to operational reliability, security, and documentation best practices
Hands‑on experience with VMware vCenter/ESXi and OpenNebula
Nice to Have
Experience with Aria Automation
Familiarity with SAN or vSAN storage technologies
Understanding of Kubernetes or containerized environments
Scripting proficiency in Python
Good written and verbal English communication skills
Interest in AIenabled‑ infrastructure management and predictive operations
